How to cancel Octopus AAVS?
To cancel Octopus AAVS, Octopus cardholders need to call Octopus Customer Service Hotline on 2266 2222. Octopus Cards Limited will then send an authorisation letter for deactivating the service. Cardholders need to bring the letter and the Octopus to any MTR Customer Service Centre within 10 calendar days to cancel the AAVS function.
Does Octopus AAVS have reload limit?
Yes. It can only be reloaded once and the amount is between HK$150/HK$250/HK$500, depending upon cardholders’ setting.
Can I apply for Octopus AAVS for supplementary cardholders at the same time?
Yes, you may apply for up to 3 friends and family.
How to apply for Octopus AAVS?
Cardholders can either apply online or via customer service hotline.
What should cardholders be aware of when using Octopus AAVS?
If you lose your Octopus card with AAVS, you should call the Lost Octopus Reporting Hotline on 2266 2266 immediately. Cardholders only have to bear the liability of loss within the first three hours of successfully reporting the loss. Please note that each card can only be topped up once a day.
