ARE YOU ELIGIBLE?

• New customers who are 18 years of age or above, have not previously opened a Huatai securities account, hold a valid Hong Kong Identity Card, and have a correspondence address within Hong Kong.

• Successfully complete and submit the MoneySmart Reward Redemption Form by 15 September 2026, after opening the Designated Account within the Promotion Period. Applicants must provide their Huatai Account ID (8 digits) in the 'Application Reference Number' section of the MoneySmart Reward Redemption Form.

• Have their application for the Designated Account approved by the Product Provider and complete the account opening procedure according to the Product Provider’s system records

• Account must be opened using MoneySmart's designated application link to qualify for this promotion.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

1. During the promotion period, customers must open an account via MoneySmart's designated link, complete the required deposit and holding conditions, and have their reward eligibility confirmed by Huatai Securities

2. New customers who complete their account opening and initial deposit between Aug 1–31, 2026, must accumulate a net deposit (including the initial deposit amount) of HK$10,000 or HK$80,000 (or equivalent in other currencies) or more into their account by Oct 31, and maintain a monthly balance of HK$10,000 or HK$80,000 (or equivalent in other currencies) or more for 2 consecutive months in August and September 2026.

3. After completing the initial deposit, funds can be used to invest in stocks, funds, options, futures, or other products, or held as cash. Any gains or losses from investments will not affect the record of the customer's initial deposit amount.

4. The cash reward will be converted from SmartPoint and then deposited into the eligible applicant's bank account via FPS.

5. Before applying via the designated MoneySmart link, you must:
   - Disable any ad blocker (or similar functions)
   - Clear your browser cache and cookies
   - Do not use “Incognito Mode
