With Standard Chartered Smart Card, you can enjoy spending and splitting your credit card bills with a 3-month interest-free instalment. For spending amounts that are ineligible to earn CashBack, the Bank will deduct HK$1 cashback for every HK$180 instalment amount applied.

No, as Standard Chartered Smart Card has a minimum annual salary requirement of HK$96,000.

SCB Smart Card vs SCB Simply Cash Card

Both Standard Chartered Smart Card and Standard Chartered Simply Cash Card have a low annual salary requirement of HK$96,000. In terms of CashBack, Simply Cash Card is more attractive, offering 1.5% CashBack on spending in local currency and 2% CashBack on spending in foreign currency, whereas Smart Card only offers 0.56% CashBack on foreign currency retail transaction.

However, if you enjoy travelling or staycation, you may find Smart Card a lot more attractive as it offers an attractive 8% CashBack at Klook (till Mar 31, 2023) with no minimum spending.
