You must pay attention to K-ETA if you are going to travel to Korea. Starting 1st September 2021, K-ETA (Korea Electronic Travel Authorization) is mandatory for all foreigners entering Korea from places where visas are not required. How to apply for K-ETA?
You can apply for your K-ETA at the official K-ETA website using your PC or mobile app. To apply for K-ETA, visitors are required to have a valid passport, e-mail address, and a credit or debit card to pay the K-ETA application fee. The fee is 10,000 KRW (approximately US$9-10). If you apply with your phone, you can take a photo of yourself for identification purposes. If you apply with your PC, instead of your mobile device, you will also need to upload a photo for identification.
