Customers of designated Standard Chartered credit cards can earn air miles from their everyday spending. For example, cardholders of Standard Chartered Asia Miles card can earn 1 Asia Mile for every HK$4 spent on online, overseas, and dining merchants.

Mastercard Travel Offers

Customers of Standard Chartered Mastercards have access to exclusive travel offers, including discounts at popular hotels around the world, and local travel offers such as discounts for the ferry between Hong Kong and Macau.

Complimentary Airport Lounge

How to Convert Standard Chartered Points to Air Miles

The rewards points you earn from your Standard Chartered credit card can be redeemed for air miles through their online 360° rewards portal. For air miles redemption, cardholders can expect the miles to be credited to their air mileage account within four to six weeks. The air miles have to be redeemed in multiples of 1,000. The minimum points required to redeem air miles is also 1,000 points.

Standard Chartered Credit Card Fees

Standard Chartered customers may have to pay the following fees as they use their credit card. Many of these fees can be avoided with careful planning and spending.

Annual Fee

The annual fee for Standard Chartered credit cards ranges from HK$250 to HK$6,000. The Standard Chartered Asia Miles Mastercard, for example, has an annual fee of HK$2,000. This fee can be waived if customers meet certain conditions (e.g. meet an aggregate transaction amount on their credit card).

Late Charge

A late charge will be applied to credit cardholders who don’t make their credit card payments by the due date. The late charge is either 5% of the outstanding balance or the minimum payment due (whichever is lower).

Overlimit Charge

An overlimit charge occurs when the credit card balance goes over the credit limit amount. Standard Chartered cardholders will be charged HK$180 per statement cycle.
