How to Earn, Convert & Redeem HSBC Asia Miles

Introduction about mileage program

With Mileage Program, Cardholders can exchange the RewardCash earned rom eligible transactions for air miles. For HSBC Premier customer, RewardCash can also be redeemed for British Airways Executive Club and Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer miles. But cardholders need to enrol in the Mileage Programme first before starting to redeem miles and tickets for flights around the world.

How to apply

Cardholders can collect RewardCash with an HSBC credit card and transfer them to the Mileage Programme online then visit a participating airline’s website to redeem for flights.

How it works

To enrol in the Mileage Programme, cardholders are required to submit an online enrolment form with the Asia Miles membership number then cardholders can convert points into miles.

How to Apply for a HSBC Credit Card

If you are a permanent resident of Hong Kong and an existing HSBC customer with payroll account in HSBC, you can apply your credit card online and no supporting document is required. For other applicants, the easiest way to apply for a credit card is to complete an application form online with required documents such as identity proof, address proof and income proof.

Identity Proof

Applicant is required to submit HKID Card copy. If you do not hold a HKID Card, please provide passport copy with recent employment contract instead.

Hong Kong Address Proof

HSBC accepts utility bill/ electricity bill/ bank statement from the last 3 months as proof of address.

Income Proof

Depending upon your source of income, the income/ asset proof varies. If you get paid monthly, you will need to submit latest 1 month payslip/ eStatement/ online transaction history. If you are self-employed, last 3 months' bank book/statement/eStatement/online transaction history, current BR, and recent 2 years Tax Return are required.
